Women’s Rights and No Group Projects? I’ve found my educational calling

We recently received our first of two “papers” for the semester.  I always assumed law school would be more writing, but I am very much mistaken. Maybe it is just UNL’s program (if so I should be going somewhere else!) but from my understanding, it’s pretty typical.

So far it is going great! I have always been one of those kids that would rather write a paper, than take a test, or do an assignment. Oh, I’d especially write a paper instead of a group project, if I ever become a teacher I will only assign group projects to the students I dislike. I loath being forced to work together with people when I often do not value nor need their “expertise” in order to complete the project. I’ll be the first to admit that “team player” is not on the list of my attributes. I think “team dictator” would be more appropriate.

Anywho, I am ecstatic to finally work on a paper of some sort! No, it isn’t an essay per say, but an objective research memorandum to determine whether “Sally Saxon” has a case for sexual harassment. Women’s rights…now that is truly right up my alley!

(I should also mention my crafting is at an all time high. From cozies to envelopes, headbands to cards, a decorative K and a scrap fabric owl)
