Fourths

Next month will be Kevin and my 4th Valentine’s Day together. I don’t know how married couple’s do it...because I am just flat out of ideas.
As much as I love crafts...I hate boy-ish crafts.
Rewind...I don’t KNOW any boy-ish crafts!
And as for stuff to buy...I am always either too practical (sweaters and shirts) or too random (donut maker and dog that fits over your toothpaste and spits toothpaste out its mouth)
So please...any good ideas?!
On another note, I also NEVER want to hear a boy complain about not knowing what to get a girl.
When in doubt, just go for the 3 S’s
Sparkly
Sentimental
‘Spensive
And you got it!
You know what I’m talking about...I’m talking a Tiffany’s ring, sparkly coach wristlet, diamond necklace.
Yes, this is me hinting at a certain someone that has managed to buy me 2 out of the 3 of these
(now is when I laugh this off like I’m kidding...)
Haha, but anywho, here is our recap of V-days
First Valentine’s Day: Just starting “seeing” each other. We had a double date where we played Apples to Apples (I still say the boys cheated) and the Walmart game. I like to think of this as our first date, but apparently he wasn’t ready for that sort of commitment then. Instead he counts when he took the lactose intolerant girl out for ice cream :)
Second: We kicked Kevin’s roommate out to have a picnic on the floor of his apartment.
Third: I made fortune cookies and we painted canvases of places we had been
Fourth- Well that one is still up in the air!

Jeremiah is so hard to shop for. 2 years ago I got him a James Avery ring. I wrote him this letter about being the man of God he was, spritual leader, and so on. I was really nervous about it but he really liked it. I'm getting progressively worse for each special occasion. Maybe tickets to something? I don't know. This was probably so not helpful.

Hahahahahaha. That is all I can say to the above comments in the special color to make them even more noticeable. Remember our conversation in Tulsa? Soon enough..

Thanks Laura, its nice to know even married folk have issues with gift giving :) But you gave me an idea!

Amber, glad you caught on to those subtle hints! Haha, thankfully Kevin and I agree school always comes first...so we may have many more Tulsa conversations before that :)
