Hey readers! This is Helen from Bettencourt Chase: things we make, bake and photograph, and I am so excited to be posting here today. Kitty is awesome, as you all obviously already know, and I'm so happy to be doing a giveaway on her blog! 

I'm a blogger and Etsy seller, much like Kitty herself, and Kitty did a giveaway on Bettencourt Chase recently. What fun! All this giveaway-trading! 

My partner and I make and sell fun things together on our Etsy. I mostly work with beads (pearls, gemstones, cabochons, etc.), along with metal and fabric of all sorts (especially organza and silk) while Lindi (the "Bettencourt" half of Bettencourt Chase) really loves paper and vintage stamps. Whew, that was a lot of parentheses! 

As you can see, we make quite a variety of things- but mostly jewelry and accessories. We also own a photography business together, so we list prints on our Etsy as well-- we photograph weddings and do engagement shoots, headshots, senior and family portraits, etc., take our camera with us everywhere when we travel, and of course photograph LOTS of fun things to list on our Etsy. 

I just did a guest post this week on Budgets Are Sexy about being an Etsy seller on the side, and I mean what I say there: that it is totally amazing to make money, no matter how small the amount, doing something you love. 

And now for the giveaway! We are giving away a pair of pink chrysanthemum earrings, 18mm across, on hypoallergenic posts. If you win and do not have pierced ears or do not care for stud earrings, we would be more than happy to substitute something of equal value from our Etsy shop. Hooray!
