Schoolgirlcrush {Giveaway!}

Another fabulous Omaha etsy store giveaway for you! Anna from schoolgirlcrush has a fabulous etsy store.

Anna is a full time student, studying Mathematics and Education. She started her shop when seh was inbetween jobs, and found etsy by googling "selling handmade jewelry"!

She told me a little about herself   "I'm engaged to be married next spring, to a wonderful man who makes me smile all the time. I have one sister who has a daughter, and my little niece is the cutest, funnest thing in the world! I enjoy making things with beads, fabric, paint and paper, and I'm always excited to learn a new craft or try a new project. I also enjoy nerdy things to complement my love for mathematics - right now I'm reading "Idiot's Guide to Theories of the Universe" and it's definitely not for idiots!"

 Also because we are doing Omaha giveaways- I wanted to get her opinion on Omaha

"My favorite part about Omaha, the city I live in, is the arts community. It's flourishing like you wouldn't believe - always growing and stretching and it seems like every month, there is a new amazing shop or gallery or music venue opening up. A couple things that stand out are: Saddle Creek Records, Hot Shops (amazing! please google!), and the Joslyn Museum." (makes you want to visit Omaha right?)

When asked why you should shop at Schoolgirlcrush, Anna said

 I always make my customers happy. When they get their package, they don't think "Oh, good, my thing is here." They squeal and squirm, and rip open the envelope, smile at the little jewelry gift box, or the colorful ribbon, they see the thank-you note I wrote just to them, and they get a little giddy. And on top of all that, I'll make you anything you want, as long as I can make it, so I'll customize, resize, remake, recolor, cut down, stretch out, and hypoallergenicize! :) I make things because I love to make things, not because I want to sell them. If I thought it was ugly, I wouldn't try to sell it, I would rip it apart and try again. That means that what you see is pretty, unique, creative... and you *will* get compliments on it! :)
