But dont think you can't have fun in an airport! Currently I'm enjoying a 4 hour wait in Denver (I could have driven from Denver to Omaha in the time it has taken me since leaving Kevin's house plus the wait, and the flight). But its not so bad! That is, after I enjoyed the "random" search of my belongings. (of course it'd be me)
First mission: Find a starbucks. Rode the little tram to a different section, walked the entire thing and found my favorite airport drink
Strawberry Banana Vivano with extra soy, no protein powder, 2 scoops matcha, in a venti cup.
Dont judge the color- its delicious.
Second mission: People watch, talk to strangers, even enjoy talking to a lady about signing up for credit cards. I'm in no hurry, why not let her give me her talk?
Third Mission: walk the entire length of denver airport. I think I actually got my exercise today than I have all week
And Lastly- Pretend to be late for a flight and run through the gate, talking to yourself .
Now I get to enjoy downtime- Staring at the departure screen deciding where I would rather be going rather than Omaha. (practically everywhere! But I'd like to go to OKC and Portland to visit friends, not to mention anyplace out of the county)

HAHA you pretended to be late?! Gutsy girl! What if they saw you stop haha.
I think the closest thing I've done was pretend to be an important business woman talking on her cellphone about meetings and contracts.
Oh I wish I was there with you.....I was based out of Denver as a flight attendant and miss that airport!
Wish I had some tips for you but sounds like you have it covered:-)
Sounds like you're making the best of it! A few weeks ago I flew and when I went through security they patted down my hair...not my whole body, just my hair. What could I possibly be hiding in my ponytail? Hope you get to leave soon!
I have very fond memories of that airport. Many hours there spent there waiting to go keep going to our mission spot in mexico.
What the heck is Vivano? I've never heard of such a thing!
Haha, this post is so awesome!! I would do almost all of those things!! And I MIGHT have to try that drink, the Vivanos are delicious I hear.
