After visiting the apple orchard this weekend- I was inspired to try a crockpot apple crisp recipe.
I looked at a number of recipes- and came up with a mix of about 4. I decided on this:
4 peeled and sliced apples
1/3 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 cup dry oatmeal
Like I mentioned- this is a small recipe. Great for about 6 servings.
Then I just turned it on and waited!
Yum Yum Yum!!
Prep time was about 5 minutes (because I halved the recipe, peeling the apples didn't take that long for just 4 apples) And it cooked for about 4 hours on high.

Slow cooker all-the-way! With a quick change of flour type -I can make this gluten-free. One of my sons had to stay away from wheat. What a great recipe. Thanks for sharing. :)
I love using my crockpot! I love how the aroma knocks you in the face as soon as you walk in the door. I bet your house smelled amazing while this was cooking. You could puree the leftovers and have a delicious applesauce (: Thanks for joining in the "swap."
Yummy! I voted in your poll too--I don't remember exactly--but I voted for "link up" because that is how I've found the majority of blogs I follow!
Hey girlie! Thanks again for linking up last week at The Little Birdie, I'm featuring your recipe tomorrow on the Friday Favorites. You were the most viewed link up!! :)
