Vintage Printable Advertisements

After going through a few things in my granparents' basement, my sister and I found a few old LIFE magazines. The dates were 1949 and 1954.

I couldn't help but scan a few of my favorites in. I thought it would make a great project for decorating some day, or digital designs. In case anyone else wanted to use these- here are the originals! The magazines were large, so I had to cut off a bit of the advertisement when I scanned it in. But you get the idea!
To get it enlarged, click the ad, then save it to your desktop!

Maybe I'm the only one that finds these pretty cool....but I loved how truly vintage they were!

Does your grandmother have the vintage Virginia Slims ad - that does a twist on the 12 Days of Christmas? It ends with, "...and a partridge to pluck and stuff and cook!" We want to do a Christmas skit with it! Could you post that poem? BTW my son just graduated from Law School in April. Good going! mjcpurse
