My new years resolution for 2011 was to not spend money on clothes for this entire year....I have to admit...I've failed. This month, I just couldn't take it any longer. I'd done everything I could to get around spending money on clothes this year- asking for clothes for holidays, using my GAP visa to purchase all my textbooks and flights....to get GAP $$ in return (I had over $260 in GAP money this year....proof that the GAP card is 100% worth it)
Well this month, I couldn't take it. I got home from the holidays, and really wanted a few new things for Christmas vacation. I've only bought a few things....all of which have been on super clearance (like 2 bras, a dress, and 2 shirts for a grand total of $0.20 at GAP) a shirt from LOFT for $5, a dress from anthropologie for $10, and one trip to forever 21 for my winter break vacation necessities. Oh and a bridesmaid dress (but obviously there isn't much of a choice in that one)
I have to say, this is probably the closest I'd ever gotten to keeping my resolution....so close...but just couldn't do it. I'm a bargain shopper....and proud. I just can't stop.
