A few fast facts about me... I'm a Navy brat who has lived in three of the four corners of this country. I'm a mild music and coffee snob and can usually barely contain my love for The Avett Brothers and a bold roast cup of joe (seriously, YouTube "The Ballad of Love and Hate," you'll never be the same). I have a huge heart for social justice, especially anti-human trafficking, and am currently searching for a job in these areas. I dream of living in a big city someday, but for now am learning to love Orlando, a city full of tourists and retirees. Lastly, I love crafting. I learned to crochet one particularly jobless and awesome summer back in college and haven't looked back. Pinterest has only made love a bit more obsessive.

About a year ago, I opened my etsy shop, ThreeStrand, on a whim and it's been fun to see what people love and feel a part of a crafting community.
After many of requests for one by my sister, I found one of the things I love making is this Mustard Slouchy Hat.
It's made of a great acrylic/wool blend that makes it soft without being itchy and easy to care for. Because I love it so much, it's what I'm giving away today!

That hat was my favorite...but the mustard croc scarf is pretty awesome too!

Haha, I hear you Shannon. I bet you could secure it with bobby pins if you needed. I find it wears well for awhile, then I throw it in the washer and dryer to tighten it back up a bit and it's good to go again!
